Novus Biologicals Introduces New Post-translationally Modified Survivin Antibody

Biologicals

Cambridge, United Kingdom (29 October 2010) – Novus Biologicals just launched a new Survivin Antibody (NBP1-47639) that is made of a synthetic peptide surrounding the acetylated lysine 129 of the human Survivin protein.  It has recently been shown that Survivin acetylation at amino acid 129 affects its interaction with STAT3, and determines its interaction with CRM1 and its subsequent subcellular localization (PMID: 20826784).

The new acetylated survivin Antibody has been positively validated for use in immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and Western blot analysis. By Western blot on TSA-treated HeLa cells, a band is seen at approximately 16.5kDa. This Survivin [acetyl 129] antibody reacts with humans and has not been tested for cross-reactivity in other species.

Novus provides a wide variety of Survivin antibodies – view the Survivin Antibody list here or browse only post-translationally modified Survivin antibodies here.
