NorthgateArinso Employer Services have created the Take Care Toolkit to help care providers meet relevant Care Quality Commission (CQC) Regulations and Outcomes coming into force from 1st October 2010.

The CQC has tough new powers to inspect, investigate and intervene where care providers fail to meet its safety and quality requirements and has introduced a series of Regulations and Outcomes focussed on safety and quality provision.  The Regulations become fully effective from 1st October 2010 and the Act envisages a penalty of up to 12 months imprisonment and/or a fine not exceeding £50,000 for non-compliance.

NorthgateArinso Employer Services provide legally compliant, sector-specific employment documents that can be tailored to the specific needs of individual businesses.  The Take Care Toolkit has been designed to assist care providers in meeting obligations under the CQC Regulations and Outcomes.  It contains a Client Employee Handbook which is bespoke to business needs along with a suite of Policies that underpin the CQC Regulations.  In addition to the basic toolkit, NorthgateArinso Employer Services can provide Recruitment & Selection Training and Seminars, CRB checks, and consultancy services to help clients implement the changes.

With regards to the Health & Safety aspects of the CQC Regulations and Outcomes, NorthgateArinso Employer Services can advise clients to ensure they understand and meet their legislative duties and give guidance on what should be done to safeguard both workers and service users.

To launch the new Take Care Toolkit, NorthgateArinso Employer Services is offering a free 30-minute telephone conversation with a subject specialist from their Policy Team to help clients meet relevant CQC Regulations and Outcomes.  They are so confident in supporting the care industry that they are even offering the first two months free for all new clients purchasing Payroll, Employment Law, or Health & Safety services during September 2010.

Gary Boyes, NorthgateArinso Employer Services Sales Director said: “We provide a bespoke service so the level of support can be tailored to individual needs regardless of company size.  Many of our clients are care providers, so we are highly experienced within the care industry and are able to assist with everyday challenges.  With our knowledge and team of experts, we ensure our clients are supported, confident and compliant in an ever-changing legal environment.”

NorthgateArinso Employer Services is one of the UK’s leading providers of HR, Employment Law, and Health & Safety services currently supporting over 2,800 businesses on a range of issues pertaining to personnel, safety, and training.
