Ibiza Holidays – A Clubber’s Paradise

Ibiza holidays for many UK travellers mean only one thing – clubbing.

Parts of Ibiza have become firmly entrenched in clubbing folklore and for so many young people in the UK a summer holiday to Ibiza is a pilgrimage.

If you’ve never been to this Balearic party island before, below is a quick guide from The Co-operative Travel to some of its most famous clubs that attract music lovers from all over the world year after year.

Fast approaching its 40th Birthday, Es Paradis is a mainstay of the clubbing scene on the island. Ibiza holidays just aren’t complete without spending at least one night at Es Paradis.

It’s a glamorous venue with a fantastic reputation and rightly so. Es Paradis is renowned for its water parties and stunning decor. It’s a real experience visiting this club on the waterfront in San Antonio, and one you’re never likely to forget.

Space Ibiza may be a taxi ride away from San Antonio but that’s never affected its popularity. It became famous for its daytime clubbing, something that none of the other clubs in Ibiza were offering.

There’s no doubting that Space is a very special club which attracts the top DJ talent from across the world every summer. Ibiza holidays for some clubbers are all about Space and it now has six different areas to give holidaymakers a more diverse clubbing experience on the island.

One of Eden’s major strengths is its location, situated as it is right in the beating heart of San Antonio. It re-branded as Eden 12 years ago and its proximity to Es Paradis makes it a buzzing venue throughout the summer season.

With a capacity of around 5,000 Eden is a major attraction for people on Ibiza holidays and it continues to go from strength to strength.

Like Space Ibiza, Amnesia is not located in San Antonio but certainly doesn’t suffer because of it. Since the mid 1970s, holidays in Ibiza have proved immensely popular, partly due to the influence of Amnesia.

Amnesia has a strong track record in attracting the DJs that clubbers really want to hear and as a result many young people book Ibiza holidays specifically to see the high profile DJs booked to play at Amnesia.

Around in its current incarnation since 1995, Privilege is the world’s ultimate clubbing experience. Not only is it the world’s biggest club with a capacity of around 10,000, it also boasts its own swimming pool!

You simply shouldn’t let your holiday to Ibiza pass without a visit to Privilege. The club can be accessed by taxi from San Antonio or by one of the free shuttle buses laid on.
