Just outside the hotel is the tallest tree on the island – an ancient Sequoia and a stream tinkles downhill providing delightful natural surroundings. The large terrace is a wonderful spot to enjoy lunch, dinner or just to relax with a drink or afternoon tea.

Aside from a very affordable bus service, the island can be easily explored on foot or on cycle – every road on Guernsey is safe for cyclists and it is the best way to traverse many of the tiny country lanes that crisscross the island.
