Private Education With No Financial Risk Promotion Ends June 2011

London, United Kingdom (14 June 2011) – Holborn Training, which runs franchised Pitman Training office skills training centres in Manchester and London’s  Notting Hill and High Holborn, have created a “love your course or get more than your money back” promotion to help adults back into work.

In response to swingeing job cuts in London and Manchester, students are invited to enrol on their choice of well respected diploma programmes where they are guaranteed to get their money back, plus keep up to £100.00 worth of training materials if they need to pull out in the first month – for any reason whatsoever.

Holborn Training Principal Shilpa Wymer claims: “We recognise that everyone wants to better themselves, but making the financial commitment to do so can be quite scary at the moment. That’s why we’re guaranteeing if a student wants to drop their diploma course because they decide they can’t afford it, or if they get a job and no longer need it, or even if they just don’t like it, they can have their money back and keep up to £100.00 worth of training materials.”

Managing Director Keith Wymer adds: “We’ve got to do something to get people re-skilled and in this way, we’re taking the worry and the risk of over-commitment away from the students. It just makes their lives easier. So far we’ve been delighted with the response to the idea and enrolments are far above what we would expect at this time of year.”

Eighteen diploma programmes are included in the promotion, includingExecutive PA, Legal and Medical Secretarial, Bookkeeping to Accounting Technician level, Marketing, HR and IT, and Microsoft Office.

With the cost of the programmes ranging from £1100.00 – £8000.00, some students see Pitman Training Diplomas as a viable alternative to university degrees, which many see as cost prohibitive and not sufficiently focused on performance at work.

Principal Wymer claims students can start a course at any time and study at hours to suit them on a drop-in basis, most days from 09:00-20:00 and all day Saturdays.

She comments: “One of the great things about the way we operate is that you can drop in for study almost like going to the gym, i.e. as and when you wish during our long opening hours. And because we don’t operate traditional term times, you can get started when you like, but because the “Love Your Course” promotion has already been so successful, we’ll have to close it at the end of June in order to concentrate on those who have already enrolled.”
