US President Barack Obama will address a joint sitting of the Federal Parliament on March 23 during his visit to Australia.
According to the latest ABC report, Leader of the House Anthony Albanese confirmed that Obama will make his address on his visit to Canberra.
Parliament will be recalled for two days to accommodate Obama’s visit.
Albanese said Obama’s address to Parliament is a great honor for MPs.
“President Obama will be a very, very welcome guest in this country,” he said, adding “Of course (it) will generate a great deal of interest from the public.
