GlobalCAD has released an update to its Hatch Manager 2011 product, making it even easier for AutoCAD and Bricscad Pro users to create custom hatch patterns.
Hatch Manager works by converting everyday drawing objects such as lines, polylines, arcs, circles, ellipses, and blocks into hatch patterns. Stunning designs can be created, limited only by the user’s imagination. This creative freedom helps give architects and designers more expression and the chance to maximize drawing impact.
The software links directly into the AutoCAD/Bricscad hatch user interface, ensuring all custom patterns remain fully featured with essential options such as associative, non-associative, edit boundary, and pattern re-scaling.
Hatch Manager includes a catalog library interface so that hatch patterns can be easily stored within categories and shared with the rest of the design team. Hatch pattern PAT files you may already have stored on your hard disk can also be imported into Hatch Manager libraries.
Hatch Manager also comes complete with hundreds of professionally drawn industry-standard patterns ready for use. Libraries exist for architecture, construction, interior design, landscape design, mapping, geology, and engineering.
Hatch Manager supports AutoCAD 2000-2011 including 32-bit and 64-bit versions and Bricscad Pro V10 and V11. The software is available from $149 for a single license from www.globalcad.com. A free-to-download 30-day trial version is also available.
